She got her break in 1993 when she was cast as daughter Becky Conner (replacing Lecy Goranson) in blue-collar American sitcom Roseanne.

Playing Dr Elliot Reid, a sexy, ambitious whirlwind of a woman in Scrubs.
As the third series opens, Elliot hits an unlucky streak that shows off Chalke's gift for loser comedy.
