Ken Stott's sailing hobby - Radio Times, October 2007 |

Since he finished making Rebus, Ken Stott has made the most of his time off. He's been to Italy, to his second home in Umbria, and he's been messing about in a boat on the Isle of Skye.
"I've bought a motorboat, but not the kind that's white and only to be driven in sunglasses. This is a trawler design," says Stott. "I love it. Nothing could be better than eating freshly caught mackerel on board. I'm lucky - I never feel seasick. Maybe because my ancestors are from an island - Sicily - and my great-great-grandfather was a pescatore - a fish seller."
