As the straight-talking manager of Hotel
Babylon, Tamzin Outhwaite
was given a crash course in how to handle
the rich and famous. But how do people
react to her when she's booking into a fancy
hotel herself? "I wish the world wasn't like
this," she sighs, "but I did notice a difference
when I joined EastEnders and became more
well known." So, has she ever had to resort
to pulling rank, using that old line, "Do you
know who I am?" "God, no!" she says. "I'm so
embarrassed about ringing up and booking
things that I usually get friends to do it for me."
