Alan Davies makes a guest appearance in Hotel Babylon as celebrity chef Otto Clark. "It was great fun. My character is an egomaniac who completely loses it," Davies tells RT. So where did he look for inspiration? "I did watch some Gordon Ramsay programmes and then I saw Marco Pierre White in Hell's Kitchen and he's good value, too. But the truth is, it's just me in a chef's outfit."
Does he have any particular kitchen skills? "They actually asked me if I could cook when we started filming. I said, 'No, I can't cook; I make food.'"
