Tim Pigott-Smith's big break - Radio Times, May 2007 |

The Holby Blue star recalls his role in 1978's The Lost Boys.
"The 70s was a time when the BBC routinely made incredible
drama. Every script that landed on your desk made you think,
'This is phenomenal'. The Lost Boys was three 90-minute
episodes about JM Barrie and his relationship with the
Llewelyn-Davies family. I played the boys' father, Arthur.
"As soon as it went out, the phone started
ringing. 'Tim, fancy coming in for a chat
about this new drama?' That really was how
it worked back then. I was so excited
it felt
like I'd been asked to join this special club."
