What James Corden watches - 31 May 2007

James Corden as Smithy in Gavin & Stacey © BBC
The writer and star of Gavin and Stacey reveals he's a fan of American comedians such as Jerry Seinfeld, Larry David and Garry Shandling, while closer to home he's particularly in awe of Caroline Aherne and Craig Cash.

"To me, The Royle Family is the greatest sitcom ever made. It doesn't do it justice to call it a sitcom. It changed everything for me, watching that show."

Corden's a serious chat show fan too. "I love Jonathan Ross and I'm really into Parkinson again after this classic one the other week. It was Stephen Fry, George Michael and Joan Rivers - such a great mix - and it was just brilliant!"
