"It's great driving the old cars," says Honeysuckle Weeks, who plays Samantha Stewart in Foyle's War. "You get that great smell when you get inside them - the leather is such good quality."
She wasn't always so pleased. At first, she admits to having had a few difficulties coping with the physical demands of driving the Wolseley 1460 used from series two onwards. "I had problems learning how to double-declutch to change gear. It was tricky, and they changed the gearbox for me after I dislocated my shoulder while driving."
