Don't let the temporary return of Noah Wyle
overshadow the appearance in ER of British actor Eamonn Walker as
Dr Stephen Dakarai, who works with refugees
in Sudan. Walker's familiar both to British and
to American audiences. He built a solid US
reputation in the tough prison drama Oz,
shown in the UK on C4. Over here, Walker's
big break came playing Winston in the Till
Death Us Do Part sequel, In Sickness and in
Health. He played PC Malcolm Haynes in The
Bill in the late 1980s and starred as Othello
in ITV1's updated version of the play in 2001.
