Actress Billie Piper, aka Rose Tyler, shares her thoughts on Doctor Who during filming of the second series of the hit sci-fi show in early 2006.
On Doctor Who
"I honestly don't think my career will get any more exciting. It's done the most amazing things for me, both personally and professionally."
On the long hours
"We work for 12-14 hours a day, so it's quite hard, especially as I like a good eight hours' sleep. When it's as cold as it is at the moment I go back to the hotel, fill my face and crash out. Beans on toast is my favourite."
On David Tennant
"He is just the most straight-down-the-line bloke you could wish to meet. He's your best friend, your brother and your boyfriend rolled into one."
On a third series
"I'd like to do it, but it's a huge commitment. After this finishes I'll be working on another BBC drama [a dramatisation of Philip Pullman's The Ruby in the Smoke] and then I'll look at things."
