Louise Lombard demurred when a producer suggested she visit a morgue to prepare for her guest role in CSI: Crime Scene Investigation.
There's no way I'm going to see a corpse just in the name of research," says Lombard. "I'm dedicated, but not that dedicated!" Nevertheless, the 34-yr-old secured a recurring role as forensic investigator Sofia Curtis.
Lombard is still remembered by admirers as Evie in BBC1's House of Eliott, but is now based in LA after the success of the film Hidalgo.
