British actor James Callis earned his role as Dr Gaius Baltar in Battlestar Galactica the hard way after moving to LA.
"I had to drive around and go to three or four auditions a day. I would be a psycho killer in the morning, a clean-cut lawyer in the afternoon and a wizard in the evening," says Callis.
After reprising his role as Bridget's mate Tom in Bridget Jones: the Edge of Reason, he tackled Renée Zellweger about her experience of auditioning. "She said, 'Never. What are you talking about?' Things have been slightly different for Renée."
