With Battlestar Galactica already well into its voyage in the UK, and US fans frantic to catch up, the producers are pleading with them not to download pirated copies from the net.
"A lot of people are enjoying Galactica, but not seeing it when it counts - on the air. In order to get a second season, we need good ratings in January, not silent, uncounted viewing in November," say Ronald D Moore and David Eick in a message on the Sci-Fi channel's Battlestar Galactica website.
