You Ask the Questions

This is your chance to grill the decision-makers and stars of TV and radio. Next in the firing line is the chairman of the BBC Trust, Sir Michael Lyons.

Is there too much swearing and violence on TV? Or have programme-makers become too timid? Are you worried about the future of the licence fee and the BBC itself? Is the BBC doing its job properly? The BBC Trust, which replaced the Board of Governors in 2007, monitors the BBC's standards, strategy and top-level budget, hears appeals following complaints and reviews the remit of BBC services.

What questions do you have for Sir Michael? They can relate to programme standards, the future of the BBC and the licence fee, or any other aspect of the Trust's work. Email them to radio.times@bbc.co.uk.
