The youngest ever candidate on her 24-hour pants hotline, the shock of getting fired and who she tips to be Sir Alan's chosen one.
You must be pretty disappointed?
Oh, God, yeah. I seriously thought I was gonna win! I was sitting there and I genuinely thought when it was me, Jen and Lucinda in the boardroom, anybody would be going but me. I don't know how I got fired. Even when Sir Alan said it, I went outside and sat down and I thought he was going to call me back in and say that he was joking - but he didn't.
But there were reasons for all of us to go, reasons for all of us to stay, and sadly he saw me as the weakest link.
Who should have been fired in your place and why?
I think it should have been anyone but me
(laughs) But no, Jen offered the exclusivity at the cinema, which cost us another meeting, potentially another deal. I agreed to do three months' exclusivity for a chain of pubs, but exclusivity infinitely is totally different.
It was a faux pas on my behalf not stepping in at the cinema and saying "Hang on a minute, we can't do this," but in that sort of situation it's really hard to undermine someone who claims to be the best saleswoman in Europe
What about Lucinda?
Lucinda had done absolutely nothing up until this task but I was pleasantly surprised seeing her as project manager. She did quite well. So I can understand why Sir Alan wanted to see more of her.
You thought you'd won that task, though, didn't you?
Yeah, we did! Did you see the self-love?! We were so confident. We literally thought we had it in the bag. We were telling the other guys "We won, we won". We were a well-oiled machine. We booked the appointments, we did the deals - but we didn't do enough. Such is life.
The show has dwelt on a few mistakes you made - like the costs for the laundry task and the exclusivity issue - but do you think they've portrayed you fairly over the last five weeks?
Definitely not, I think you've hardly seen me - apart from when I'm saying stupid things. They've portrayed me as the village idiot! But I'm confident enough in my own abilities to believe that only good things are going to happen from this. It's life. You go into the show and sign your life away to the editors and to whoever watches it, and whether the public like you or not you're still going to have to live your life.
I'm 22 - youngest candidate ever! - I worked very hard in the auditions to get on the show, I've worked very hard since the age of 19 to be successful in business, and I'm going to continue to work very hard, so I think only good things will happen.
What have been your favourite moments from the show?
It's got to be the 24-hour underwear hotline
No, that was one of my worst moments -absolutely cringeworthy! I had fun selling fish, because I sold the most, I had fun doing the actual laundry task because I collected the most laundry, the restaurant was an absolute laugh, with that ridiculous dancer
It's just a shame people didn't get to see more of me, and I didn't get to be project manager and showcase my skills. But, hey-ho, life goes on and the whole experience was great. Nowhere else in the world would I do so many things in such a short space of time. So, definitely rave reviews from me for the whole experience.
Who would you pick as a winner now?
I would like Helene to win because she's very straightforward. What you see is what you get. She doesn't try to be something that she's not, she's not underhanded, playing a game a
I liked her, she was a good friend. So, for all the important reasons.
She's definitely an all-rounder. She's someone I can see running one of Sir Alan's companies. There are a lot of people in there who I could see absolutely falling apart in that sort of role.
What's Sir Alan really like?
I know him no more than you do, to be honest. What you see on TV is exactly what happens. You never speak to him unless he's shouting at you, telling you how awful you are and saying you're fired! So you don't really build up a relationship with him.
It's really weird, if he looks at you and smiles you're, like, "Oh, my god, he likes me! He likes me! " And if he frowns you think it's the end of the world. He commands so much power and respect. His achievements speak for themselves.
What are your plans now?
Well, I'm acting as business development director for a marketing company in Windsor called Effective Marketing Systems. I'm building up a team for them over the next few months and helping them bring in new business.
I'm open to offers but I am a businesswoman first and foremost. I just need to get my teeth into something, work really hard, make a ridiculous amount of money and be ridiculously successful - and party really hard! And then I'll be happy. That's it really.
