All over the world, people are still spotting and filming UFOs. Thanks to video on the internet we can now be convinced of extraterrestrial visitations by incredible high-quality evidence…

Here are the best and most-viewed UFO clips around. Which are fake and which are unexplained? Answers at the bottom of the page.

1) New York, New York
A couple in a helicopter buzzing around the World Trade Center. One of them spots something lurking behind a building. Oh, my god. Just look what it does. And then, later, at night this time, another archetypal flying saucer moving slowly across the rooftops. So amazing. Could they both be real?

2) Rod
UFOs, you know, come in many shapes and sizes, not just saucers. Cigar-shaped, circular, and made-up. Rods are also very common. Is this evidence for one, shot, apparently, by a FOX News TV photographer (which reduces its credibility even further)? What do you think? We know what we think. See below.

3) The Turkish Files
You know what it's like. You're panning across a pine forest for a conveniently high vantage when suddenly you spot an incredible, incomprehensible shape rising from the treetops. You follow it for minutes with your camera, shouting and panicking, while straight-laced intellectual studio hosts try to keep a straight face. What is it? A bird? A plane? Answers below.

4) Mextraterrestrial
Thanks to grainy footage and shouty commentary, you'll have to watch this one a few times to clock exactly what's going on. Clue: look out for the arm. So, is this the first genuine footage of an alien-human contact? Or just some Mexican boys having a lark? Answers at the bottom of the page.

5) Las Vegas
This one is funny. A local crackpot prophet claims he can summon UFOs at will. Local news teams descend on him with an eye for a great "And finally…" whack job story. But lo! The local prophet pulls it off, summoning a strange orange shape in the sky, which the crew duly - and incredulously - film. Is it real? Scroll down for the answer.

6) Er, Islington?
The most recent x-file is much closer to home. An apparent fleet of UFOs amassing above Islington, clearly aiming to win the hearts and minds of the British public by death-raying the stuck-up London borough.
