Remarkably, it was a decade before David Attenborough got another Radio Times cover. But there was a reason for that: his job as BBC2 controller had prevented him from making many programmes. He resigned from the post in 1973 specifically to return to film-making, and in 1975 he was presenting BBC2's Tribal Eye. |
