The very first Comic Relief was a concert at London's Shaftsbury Theatre that was later shown in edited form in an edition of Omnibus in April 1986. Radio Times featured it in the issue but it was the next Red Nose Day that really became what we recognise today: an evening of comedy and charity - and the front cover of Radio Times.
