It was the first snowman on the 1996 Christmas and new year double issue of Radio Times for four years. But there was a very familiar face on the telly: Anthea Turner fronted ITV's Christmas with the Royal Navy. And for BBC1, there was the start of the final Only Fools and Horses trilogy.
