Sylvia, 21, came to the UK with her family aged 11, when the war started in her native Sierra Leone. Describing herself as feisty and ambitious but soft on the inside, she is equally at home in a church or a shopping mall. "Unclean individuals, aggressive people and negativity" make her angry.
