"Nice guy" Ansell made it to the last three in the second series. A former professional footballer with Millwall, the south Londoner found employment as a salesman after injury cut short his sports career. Fair but firm, Ansell emerged as an effective mediator in the show and often managed to defuse arguments between other contestants.
