It looks set to be as close a battle as last year, with reigning champion, Ferrari's Kimi Raikkonen, the favourite. Britain's Lewis Hamilton, driving for McLaren, will be hot on the Fin's heels, having narrowly missed out on the title in 2007, his first F1 season.
