Biggest…loser

There are a number of words I could have inserted after "biggest" to accurately describe short-lived housemate Kenneth - but here at Radio Times we do our best to avoid that sort of language. So instead of just hurling insults, let's look back at some of Kenneth's "best bits" from his brief sojourn in the house.

A lot of the most notable moments centred on the lovely Bea. After an argument with her - an argument that he started and that ended with Bea using her superior wit and intellect to show him up for the unsavoury, insecure creature that he is - Kenneth remarked to Charlie, Siavash et al that had this happened in the "real world" (a strange choice of words considering the kind of life Kenneth claims to be living on the outside), he would have "paid someone to deal with it". A snap of the fingers, apparently, and the problem of Bea would have disappeared.

Add to this his earlier chat about having "sat opposite some of the most dangerous men in the world", and it doesn't paint a very pretty picture. Realising his mistake, Kenneth hastily backtracked later, claiming that's not what he'd meant (she'd just have been removed from his sight by some bodyguards for talking to him - so that's OK, then).

One of the most outrageous aspects of this whole debacle is that Big Brother didn't react more strongly. Kenneth should've been kicked out, not given the chance to avoid the public eviction by choosing to walk. What he implied was as strong, if not stronger, than the "pow-pow-pow" threats of gangster retaliation from Alex last year - and she was out of there like a shot (ironically, with the kind of finger-clicking immediacy that Kenneth would no doubt approve of).

After that incident, it seems a bit lame to refer to the self-professed "international playboy's" blatant flirting with Dogface and his claims that Noirin fancies him despite all evidence to the contrary. Then again, it's another example of his horrific attitude to women - those he's harassing in the house and the girlfriend on the outside he supposedly loves who had to watch all this.

Anyway, no matter - he's gone. He left by climbing over the roof on Thursday morning, crowing, "I came in as a legend, I go out as one…"

But don't worry, if he hadn't walked or been evicted, I'd have had him removed. Like this (click!)

Biggest hero

Given the way he's pandered to Lisa, I've thought in the past that Charlie's been a bit of a wuss. But he showed the rest of the housemates up when Kenneth started making his "threats" about Bea. "What do you mean - you'd have got someone to argue with her some more?" Charlie fought to expose what Kenneth really meant by way of a ridiculous argument, and had the viewers cheering.

So, would you have voted for Kenneth this week? Or was he simply misunderstood - should somebody else have been packing their suitcase? Post a comment and let us know.
