Should be Becky, Ben or Chris - or better still the whole British Olympic and Para-olympic team! It was hardly a resounding year for Hamilton. OK Lewis won the F1 Title - but only "just" (and I still wonder about the last race - and he doesn't even live here anymore!). For someone in Lewis' position (£££) support should be a two way thing.

no way. Hamilton has done well, but it has to go to an Olympian. they train for four years for one event. they don't get paid millions and don't race against only 2/3 drivers as realistically, only Ferrari can beat McLaren to the championship. If you put Hamilton in a lesser car he wouldn't win. He also get's paid £20m+. He will win another year. Has to go to Hoy who won 3 golds, repeating his feat from 4 years ago and being the first person to win 3 golds for GB. he is a champion and should be recognised for his amazing achievements now as he is unlikely to be shortlisted again.

What about Louis Smith, who claimed Britain's first ever individual Olympic medal in men's gymnastics?

I think one of the olympians should win it, it only ever happens once every four years - so nobody else should steal it from them

Have to agree with brad, a cast of villans and hero's throughoutthe season, and a script that even Hollywood could never reproduce. Well done Lewis, look forward to 2010.
