Yes, two new contestants are to debut on tonight's edition of I'm a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Former children's TV presenter Timmy "Wacaday" Mallett and David Van Day, one half of 80s pop duo Dollar, will enter the jungle this evening.

But as the two eager celebs hurry to meet their new camp mates, there are some surprises in store. Sweet-toothed Timmy bends down to pick up a cup cake from the jungle floor and finds himself hauled up in a net suspended from a tree. And David is soon caught in the same trap.

The two captives are then locked in cages on the jungle floor. It seems the celebs back at the camp site will then be faced with trials to decide whether David and Timmy get to eat, and when they'll be set free.

So what do you think of the new contestants? Will they have an interesting impact on the group dynamic? Or are they disappointing additions to the camp? And what about their distinctly pantomime-style entrance? Was it over the top, or is that the whole point of I'm a Celeb…? Post a comment below and let us know.

I've met Timmy, If he's as outrageous in this as he is in the spot light, it'll be quite funny watching him perform Mallets Mallet with a bit of wood on that winging bint Nicola McLean.

It's all very over the top, but hey... that's what these programmes thrive on, and I love it! :o)
